With the fog lights having disappeared in the long life of the car, I had to get new ones to reestablish the proper original look of the car.

(private comment: what does one really need the fog lights for on a summer car - except perhaps to look for cats sitting under parked cars in speed-reduced areas...)

The former owner cared quite well for the car - he is also responsible for the too-modern-looking alloy wheels . They are (let´s hope soon) to be replaced by the original "Avus"-style Volkswagen alloy wheels. The "Ronal"-rims at the moment are too light in their color and put too much of an accent on the wheels.
A picture of a photo session with Klaus in Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen plant - in the background the new cars´ storage can be seen.

This was when Stephan still had his five cylinder:

The Audi 100 CD 2,3E Automatic (US: Audi 5000) was exactly the right car for him. All cars after this one were (and are) only unsufficient substitutes. Of course, he would never admit this...

The Audi surely is not innocent of my own five-cylinder conviction - Stephan and the automatic transmission just as well.
